Aims:

• generating creative thinking

• creating the original designs

• interpreting and evaluating the architectural designs

Outlines of lectures and workshops:

• plagiarism vs. creation in architecture, daub vs. worth designing - architectural valuation and critics

• sign and context: structural analysis, hermeneutics and architecture

• metaphor, metonymy and paradox in architecture

• algorithm of decision making - effectiveness in design

• algorithm of creation - how do the famous architects design?

• architectural workshops with applying different inventive methods: intuitive methods (circept, crushing, analogy and superposition), analytic methods (matrix of discoveries, functional innovation) and creative methods (lambda, caricature and absurd, method of Gordon, Altszuller, searching for visual inconsistencies, visual transposition
